My name is Kristin, and I'll be your instructor for this course. We will also have an Instructional Assistant named Jessica who will be helping us.
In this course, we
will cover all the traditional “standards” of good writing—at the sentence,
paragraph, and idea level—but we will also imbue our writing with our unique
voice. We will work hard to present our
ideas clearly, and we will help others to cultivate their ideas as well.
In addition, we will work with technology to help foster and share our ideas. Being able to write well and use technology will help make you competitive, whether your goal is to transfer to a 4-year university or enter the job market.
