composing, revising and editing skills.

and apply appropriate mechanical and grammatical structures in the production
and editing of sentences, paragraphs, and basic compositions.

critical thinking in reading, writing, and class discussion.

Look at the goals that are highlighted in yellow. These are the goals that we have spent time during the first six weeks. The others (reading texts and writing in-class paragraphs) will come a bit later in the semester. Reflect back on the work you have done so far and think about the progress you have made toward these highlighted goals. Which ones have you mastered? Which ones are you working on? Which ones could you put more effort toward?
Thanks for posting this, it will really help me improve throughout the semester! Are you going to guide us through the assignments?

Hi Lisandro,
DeleteThe best free materials for these topics are the materials that I give you in class. :) Everything that we do will relate to one of those goals. The best website to continue building on those skills would be this: http://miramarbasicskillslab.blogspot.com/

Hi Jackie,
DeleteI'm glad the highlighting helps you! :) It's always a good idea to read everything, though. Just because something isn't highlighted doesn't mean it isn't important too.
Thanks for all the goal's that i feel like i need to accomplish!
