    You are one person.
    You're is going places.

  2. I tried to explain 'your' and 'you're' right, but I worried that 'your' and 'you're' sounds too similar if spoken. It maybe understandable in text, but speaking it is another thing. I realized that I pronounced them too much, and it is a problem because it made the text sound like gibberish. I'll take note in what I done wrong and improve next time. I hope I flowed instructions.

  3. I agree with Michael S. When you prounounce "your" and "you're" it sounds the same and when you read it off of something its understandable. But what matters is to know the differences between those two words even if they are prounounced the same.

    1. Zully,

You're totally right. It doesn't matter too much when we're speaking, but when we write for classes or other formal purposes, we should pay attention to make sure we use the correct spelling and punctuation.

    1. I'm happy you learned something you can apply to daily life! Usually when you're texting it doesn't matter too much, but it's good to practice so you'll ace all your essays!

  5. I've never had problems with using your and you're. But when I text I don't check what form I use it in. So I guess you can say it messes me up on my homework.

  7. I have noticed when I am writing something for class or something professional I do not have a problem with "your" and "you're". However, when it comes to texting I always type "your" because it is easier and faster!

  8. I dont have a problem with the forms anymore but i did never know when to use the you're form until we started going over it in class and practicing with both forms. I know the difference now and when to use the correct form when writing mainly since speaking or texting doesnt really matter.
